I searched high. I searched low. I searched everywhere in between during my quest for an effective Marketing Planner for my business. Last year I even spent over $60 for a planner that just wasn’t worth the money. It included a few nice features but the paper was thin, the size was awkward and it seemed to be made for full-time bloggers.
So, what did this Boss Lady decide to do for 2020? I created my own, of course. I should have done it years sooner since I do have graphic design skills AND own a print shop! Oh well, better late than never!
I’d love to share with you what I believe is the BEST MARKETING PLANNER FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.
The Marketing Planner is printed on light weight cardstock and spiral bound for a finished size of a regular piece of 8.5″x11″ paper. It has a clear cover and black vinyl back and looks like this:
Sure the cover looks great. This size is handy. But it’s what is inside that makes a difference:
- Quarterly & Monthly Goal Setting Pages
- 2020 Holidays and Observances List (with hashtags!)
- Social Media Post Idea List
- 12-Month 2020 Planner with a 2-page spread for each month
- Inspirational Quote for each month
- Growth Tracking for followers on social media channels, email lists, blogs and more
- Blank Pages for Email Headline Ideas and Other Brilliant Ideas
In the beginning of the Planner, there are pages to include both your Monthly and Quarterly goals, plans or themes. You can use this in so many ways. For example, you can list the various promotions you have throughout the year and use it to fill in where needed. You may want to list just your promotions or sales. Or you may want to list your main events. You may list goals or other plans. It’s your planner . . . use it how it will work best for your business!
Next, you’ll find FOUR pages of 2020 Holidays and Observances for the United States. This extensive list can help you plan promotions, social media content and more! Creating graphics to post on Social Media for various holidays – both traditional and fun – is a great way to engage your followers. And, if you include your website address at the bottom of the graphics it’s a great way to promote your business when the graphics are shared.
Next is a list of 90 Social Media post ideas. And, plenty of blank space to jot down your own ideas.
Each month has a two-page spread to keep track of all your marketing plans. It even has a place to track your growth for your social media accounts, your blog and your email list. There are places to jot down themes, special events/promotions.
Next is a 60 day list that you can use for recurring social media posts? You’re probably wondering what that is?!?!? A recurring post is one that you post periodically. I have various product, service and funny saying posts that I repeat every 60 days. Since not every follower will see every social media post, it’s a good idea to have evergreen content that you can repeat. If you want to do this, there’s two pages in this planner to track it.
By the way, I use Postcron.com to schedule my evergreen posts to re-post ever 60 days. This helps me ensure that we provide consistent content on all the social media platforms we use.
Finally, I’ve included one page that you can write down Email Headline ideas and three pages for “other brilliant ideas.” As you receive emails from other companies pay attention to their subject lines. If they’re clever and you can use a similar headline, jot it down! If you come up with other ideas there’s plenty of room to write everything down.
Use this 2020 Marketing Planner to plan, prioritize and schedule your marketing efforts. This 38-page planner will be your best marketing tool for 2020!
And, you can get yours for only $12.99 by clicking here!
Why so inexpensive? Because I want you to use it. I want to receive feedback so I can incorporate your ideas for the 2021 edition. That’s why you can get one for just the cost of printing and binding. CLICK HERE NOW AND START PLANNING YOUR BEST BUSINESS YEAR EVER!
